Chief Executive Wind

Tom Nevin is Chief Executive Wind at Purus.

Tom has 28 years' experience in the maritime industry and is a co-founder of Crew Transfer Vessel company HST Marine, which was acquired by Purus in 2022. Tom’s experience includes working as an onboard engineer, up to a chief engineer. Onshore, Tom has held roles as superintendent and fleet manager in East Africa and the UK. In aggregate these roles have pertained to the management of approximately 88 vessels and the oversight on delivery of 64 newbuild vessels.

Tom received his education at HMS Sultan, the Royal Navy’s Defense School of Marine Engineering. He is a Chartered Marine Engineer (Accredited by IMarEST) and Chartered Engineer (Accredited by the Engineering Council).
