Senior Executive

Henry Chiang serves as Senior Executive and advisor for Purus.

Henry has 40 years' maritime industry experience, including 13 years' as President and CEO of Greathorse Group, where he built up and operated a fleet of 40 vessels of various types, including containerships, bulk carriers and chemical tankers. Optimized hull forms, fuel saving and low emission main engines, and energy saving devices were selected to improve fuel/carbon efficiency of vessels. He also assisted Seaspan and GCI in their newbuilding projects in China, and assisted in their Chinese charterer relationships. For 22 years' he was with Lloyd’s Register and was Area Manager for PR China and Hong Kong.

Henry is a naval architect.
