Group Head of Shipmanagement and Operations

Alan Delanoe is Group Head of Shipmanagement and Operations at Purus, focusing on the technical and operational aspects of our fleet.

Alan has 21 years' offshore and onshore maritime experience, including various management roles such as Fleet Supervision Senior Manager at BW LPG and Marine Operations Manager at Total. His responsibilities included managing a fleet of 48 VLGCs, overseeing newbuilds, retrofits, operations and onshore and offshore staff.

Alan has served as a Captain, Engineer and Chief Officer on various VLGC vessels. He has a Graduate Degree of Merchant Navy in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science from Ecole Nationale Superieure Maritime.
