Chief Commercial Officer

Hakon Vevang is Chief Commercial Officer of Purus. 

Hakon has 20 years’ experience in the maritime industry, specialising in commercial strategy, chartering, and operations. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Edda Wind, where he oversaw key commercial initiatives in the offshore wind industry. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Østensjø Rederi, first as a Charterer and then progressing to Chartering Manager for Renewables. His career also includes roles in shipping operations at North Sea Container Line and shipbroking at Lorentzen & Stemoco. 

Hakon received his MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
