Purus Chinook launched at Vard shipyard

Purus is proud to share that our latest C/SOV has officially launched at VARD shipyard in Romania! This cutting-edge vessel will join the Purus fleet in 2025, heading straight on to contract with Vestas to support their offshore wind operations.

Equipped with the latest hybrid battery technology to lower emissions and reduce engine hours, as well as an all-electric gangway for enhanced efficiency, this vessel represents a significant step forward in sustainable maritime solutions.
